Description
This postcard shows a green and white gazebo-style band shell over Lake Eola. Built in 1924, the original bandshell was removed from its original location on the south side of Lake Eola and reconstructed on the West Side. It has since been replaced by the Walt Disney Amphitheater, which finished construction in 1989. The postcard pictured was printed by Genuine Curteich-Chicago, a company renowned for advertising city features in the 20th century.
